Forest Fire Watch April 30, 2013 FREDERICTON (CNB) – The following public advisory regarding Category 1 Burning Permits in the province is issued by the Forest Fire Management Branch, Department of Natural Resources. (Note: Grass fires are NOT permitted in Category 1). Within city and town boundaries, please check with municipal offices about burning permit restrictions.

Burning conditions are valid from 2 PM April 30, to 2 PM May 1. All counties are closed for burning.   This information does not apply to the Tracadie Firing Range area, where burning is prohibited.
