Rainfall warning for
Campbellton and eastern half of Restigouche County issued

Rainfall amounts of 50 to possibly 70 millimetres are possible for much of New Brunswick except southeast regions.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

A low pressure system south of Cape Cod will approach New Brunswick today and is expected to move across northwest regions of the province on Saturday. A slow moving warm front ahead of this system has already begun to spread rain over southern regions of the province. Although there is still some uncertainty in how this scenario will unfold it now looks likely that much of New Brunswick will see anywhere from 40 to possibly 70 millemetres of rain by the time the rain tapers off on Saturday. Southeast regions of the province should see lesser total rainfall amounts generally in the 30 to 45 millimetre range.
