AN INTENSE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM NEW ENGLAND CROSSED
NOVA SCOTIA TODAY TO LIE NEAR NEWFOUNDLAND THIS EVENING. THIS SYSTEM
BROUGHT HEAVY SNOWFALL TO MUCH OF THE PROVINCE, AND HEAVY RAINS TO
PARTS OF THE FUNDY COAST. BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WITH NEAR ZERO
VISIBILITIES WERE OBSERVED OVER EASTERN AND NORTHEASTERN PARTS OF THE
PROVINCE
