MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN. IF POSSIBLE...FIND
ANOTHER ROUTE TO YOUR DESTINATION NOT IMPACTED BY FLOODING.

  • Fredericton and Southern York County
A strong cold front will cross New Brunswick tonight into early Wednesday.

Heavy rain is expected ahead of the front over southern portions of the province giving near 30 millimetres to regions close to the Bay of Fundy. Rainfall warning in effect for:
  • Saint John and County
Rainfall - early evening to morning.

Rain, heavy at times is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.

Rain at times heavy is expected tonight over portions of southern New Brunswick ahead of a strong cold front. Near 30 millimetres of rainfall is expected. A rapid drop in temperatures will give a brief period of snow and ice pellets with the passage of the front. This will likely give icy conditions Wednesday morning.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
