Humidex Watch issued for all of New Brunswick on Canada Day

Special weather statement in effect for:

• Fredericton and Southern York County

Warm and humid weather.

 A warm and humid airmass over New Brunswick today and Canada day will cause humidex values to reach between 35 and 40 over most of the province with the exception of some coastal areas. There is a chance that some inland areas of New Brunswick may see humidex values exceeding 40 on Canada day.

The public is advised to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated if spending long periods of time outdoors.
