Rainfall warning in effect for:

• Halifax Metro and Halifax County West

Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

An area of low pressure will deepen as it approaches the Maritimes this evening. Rain, heavy at times, over western regions will spread eastward tonight. Total rainfall amounts in excess of 100 mm are possible by dawn Thursday.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
