Winter Storm Iola Update Four

4:08 PM AST Saturday 24 January 2015
Special weather statement in effect for:
  • Queens County P.E.I.
Another winter storm on the way for Tuesday.
While most of the Maritimes is just beginning to feel the effects of the latest winter storm, another Major weather system will impact Prince Edward Island on Tuesday. While there is still considerable uncertainty in exactly how this system will evolve, it is looking more likely that much of the province will see significant amounts of snow accompanied by very strong winds. Some of these impacts may carry over into Wednesday as the system tracks very slowly through the region. Details will hopefully become more clear over the next day or two.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required.
