Winter Storm Goliath Heads Our Way Update Three

Winter storm watch in effect for:
  • Guysborough County
An area of low pressure will track up the US Eastern Seaboard today
then track south of Nova Scotia tonight. Snow associated with this system has already begun this morning over western portions of the province and will spread eastward through the day. Snowfall accumulations of 10 to possibly 15 centimetres are expected before the snow tapers to flurries overnight.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.

Snowfall warning in effect for:
  • Fredericton and Southern York County
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

An area of low pressure will track up the US eastern seaboard today then track south of Nova Scotia tonight. Snow has already begun over western portions of New Brunswick and will spread eastward through the day. Snow will taper to flurries tonight. Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres can be expected for southernmost portions of New Brunswick with 10 to 15 centimetres elsewhere.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
