THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 8 INCHES.
* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON BEFORE
ENDING THIS EVENING.
* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY. SNOWFALL
RATES OF 1 INCH PER HOUR COULD MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR PLOWS TO
KEEP UP WITH THE SNOWFALL... LEADING TO A GREATER DEPTH OF
SNOW ON THE ROADS.
* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.
* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.
