Frost advisory in effect for:
Cold temperatures combined with clear skies and light winds overnight tonight will lead to frost formation in some areas.
Similar conditions are expected over much of the region Friday night into Saturday.
Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.
Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to the reach freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
