...WINTER STORM FOR MONDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE COAST MONDAY MORNING AND MOVE
TOWARDS THE BAY OF FUNDY LATER MONDAY. PRECIPITATION WILL START AS
SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA, BUT CHANGE TO RAIN IN COASTAL HANCOCK
COUNTY IN THE MORNING. SNOW WILL BE HEAVY DURING MONDAY MORNING
IN SOUTHERN PISCATAQUIS AND PENOBSCOT COUNTIES.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 7 TO 10 INCHES.

* LOCATIONS...INTERIOR DOWNEAST MAINE AND THE CENTRAL MAINE
  HIGHLANDS.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* TIMING...BEGINNING AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUING INTO MONDAY
  AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL RESULT IN DIFFICULT DRIVING
  CONDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE MORNING INTO MIDDAY.

* WINDS...EAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...RISING FROM THE TEENS TO LOWER 20S EARLY
  MORNING TO THE MID TO UPPER 20S BY AFTERNOON.

* VISIBILITIES...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

Snowfall warning in effect for:

Queens County
A low pressure system approaching from the west will give snow to Nova Scotia on Monday. Total snow amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected before

snow tapers to a few showers or flurries late in the day.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. There

may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.
