Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
A low pressure system will pass south of Nova Scotia Friday night as it intensifies and tracks towards Newfoundland. Snow from this system is

expected to reach the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia Friday afternoon and continue overnight.

The latest indications are that the bulk of the snow will remain south of the province with 5 to 10 cm forecast for Cape Breton and eastern Mainland
