Mid-November Nor'Easter Update Two

Wind warning in effect for:

Sydney Metro and Cape Breton County
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

A low pressure system will intensify as it tracks toward the region today. Strong southerly winds gusting from 80 to 100 km/h will develop this afternoon in the west and spread eastward reaching Cape Breton near midnight.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
