Winter Storm Harper Update Seven

Rainfall warning in effect for:

Saint John and County
Rain, heavy at times is expected.

A strong winter storm will continue to track across the Maritimes tonight. Ice pellets and freezing rain will change to rain at times heavy this evening over most of southern New Brunswick.

Over the Fundy Coast regions, near 40 millimetres of rain is expected by Monday morning. In addition to 40 millimetres of rain there will be rapid snowmelt tonight as temperatures rise well above the freezing mark.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
