Frost possible throughout the Eastern Maritimes overnight

Frost advisory in effect for:

Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick
Frost may damage frost-sensitive fruit trees and vegetable plants.

Cool temperatures, light winds and clear skies will bring frosty conditions to some inland areas tonight. Frosty conditions are likely again Monday night.

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
