Winter Storm Ezekiel
URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Gray ME
755 PM EST Sat Nov 30 2019
...A SIGNIFICANT LONG DURATION WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT PARTS OF
THE AREA THROUGH TUESDAY...
.A complex but significant winter storm is forecast to arrive
Sunday and may not wind down until Tuesday afternoon. Snow will
come in several phases, with the greatest accumulation coming
Sunday night and again Monday night into Tuesday. In between
precipitation will taper off to very light snow or even a mix at
times. The first round of snow will overspread the area from the
southwest Sunday afternoon before stalling near the New Hampshire
and Maine border. Model forecasts show the potential for the storm
to reorganize in the Gulf of Maine Tuesday. This could bring
potentially moderate to heavy snow to much of western Maine if it
pans out. The area that is best positioned to capitalize off both
rounds of snow will be southwest New Hampshire.
