...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST MONDAY...
* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Coastal DownEast, Far
Eastern, Far Northern, Interior DownEast, North Woods and
Penobscot Valley Maine.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and isolated power outages may
result.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

Wind warning in effect for:
Acadian Peninsula
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
Maximum gusts; 90 km/h.
Location: Coastal areas of the Acadian Peninsula.
Time span: Tonight and Monday.
Remarks: Westerly winds gusting to 90 km/h are expected to continue tonight and Monday. The strongest gusts will be along exposed areas near the coast. Gusts will diminish to 70 km/h late Monday evening.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.

Wind warning in effect for:
Victoria County
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
Peak wind gusts: 100 km/h
Location: northern Inverness and Victoria counties
Time span: late Monday afternoon and Monday evening
Remarks: Westerly winds will intensify on Monday night with gusts reaching 100 km/h over coastal areas of northern Inverness and Victoria counties. These winds will persist through Monday evening and will begin to diminish in the overnight hours.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
