Snowfall warning in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
Significant snowfall today.

Total Snowfall: 15 to 25 cm.

Locations: southern New Brunswick.

Time Span: until this evening.

Remarks: The heaviest snow will continue to fall this afternoon before tapering to flurries later in the afternoon.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Annapolis County
Significant snowfall today

Total snowfall: 10 to 20 cm, with up to 30 over parts of Victoria County.

Maximum wind gusts: 50-70 km/h.

Locations: central, northern, and eastern Nova Scotia

Time span: today and this evening

Remarks: Snow will continue throughout the afternoon for a majority of mainland Nova Scotia. Along the Atlantic coast we will likely see a switch over to rain this afternoon and evening while areas further inland are expected to remain as snow. The heaviest snow is expected to continue this afternoon before tapering to flurries this evening.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
