Coastal DownEast Maine, Far Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine,

Interior DownEast Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot Valley

Maine.

Over one inch of rainfall is expected this afternoon and tonight.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Special weather statement in effect for:


Fredericton and Southern York County

Heavy rain is expected tonight into Wednesday.


Total rainfall: 20 to 45 mm with locally higher amounts possible.


Maximum wind gusts: 50 to 70 km/h along the Fundy coast.


Locations: New Brunswick.


Time span: Tuesday evening to Wednesday.


Remarks: Rain will begin this evening over western regions and spread eastward into the overnight hours, becoming heavy at times. The rain is expected to taper to showers Wednesday.

Heavy rain is expected tonight and into Wednesday.


Total rainfall: 30 to 40 mm with locally higher amounts possible.


Maximum wind gusts: 50 to 70 km/h.


Locations: Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia and areas of Cape Breton.


Time span: this evening into Wednesday.


Remarks: Rain will begin this evening over western regions and spread eastward into the overnight hours, becoming heavy at times. The rain is expected to taper to showers by Wednesday afternoon for 


mainland Nova Scotia and by Wednesday evening for Cape Breton.
