Special weather statement in effect for:

Halifax Metro and Halifax County West

Higher than normal water levels along with rough and pounding surf are possible Monday morning along parts of the Atlantic Coast.

Locations: Halifax Metro and Halifax County West, Lunenburg County and Queens County.

Time span: Monday morning especially during high tides
