...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 7 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts between 40 and 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern and southern New
  Hampshire and south central, southwest and western Maine.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 7 PM EST Monday. West to northwest winds
  will steadily increase during the late morning hours and peak
  during the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

Wind warning in effect for:

Queens County P.E.I.
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Maximum gusts: south-southwesterly 90 km/h.

Locations: Prince Edward Island.

Time span: late Monday afternoon until Monday evening.

Gusty winds can damage soft shelters, tents and awnings at outdoor events. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
