Snowfall warning in effect for:

Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
Significant snowfall continues today.

Total accumulation: 15 to 25 cm.

Location: central and eastern Nova Scotia.

Remarks: Snow, at times heavy, will end this afternoon. The highest accumulations will be over eastern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
