Late April Nor'Easter Update Three

Rainfall warning in effect for:

Victoria County
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

Total rainfall: widespread 40 to 60 mm, possibly higher amounts in heaviest rain.

Wind gusts: 60 to 80 km/h, possible higher gusts over eastern Cape Breton.

Locations: Halifax County - east of Porters Lake, Guysborough County and eastern Cape Breton.

Time span: midnight until Monday afternoon.

Remarks: Periods of rain, at times heavy, are expected tonight through to Monday morning. Rain will taper to showers Monday afternoon.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
