...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 30 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...Central Washington, Interior Hancock, and Southern
  Penobscot Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

Frost Advisory in effect for:
Fredericton and Southern York County
Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Minimum temperatures: -4 to 0 in low lying inland areas. 

Locations: New Brunswick.

Time span: early Thursday morning.

Remarks: Widespread frost is expected to form as clear skies and light winds coincide with very cool temperatures tonight.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
