Discussion.

A tropical airmass affected portions of Nova Scotia this past 

weekend, giving very heavy downpours and thundershowers locally. 

Rainfall warnings were issued for various counties. 

The following is a summary of precipitation information received by 

Environment Canada as of 11 a.m. on Monday, August 24th, 2026.
