Snowfall warning for
Grand Falls and Victoria County continued

This is a warning that significant snowfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

An intensifying low pressure system near Cape Cod this morning will pass over Nova Scotia later today. This system is expected to bring significant snowfall and strong easterly winds today. Snowfall amounts of 30 to 40 centimetres are expected across Southern New Brunswick while over Northern New Brunswick snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres are forecast. The snow will be accompanied by strong easterly winds gusting up to 70 kilometres per hour giving blowing snow.

Higher than normal water levels and rough pounding surf can be expected this evening at high tide along the East Coast of New Brunswick.
