Early November Winter Storm Update Five

Wind warning in effect for:
- Acadian Peninsula
A low pressure system in the Gulf of Saint Lawerence will continue to track away from the maritimes tonight. Strong northwest winds with gusts up to 100 km/hr are occuring along exposed areas of the coast and will continue through the night and into tomorrow morning as the system pulls away.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
