Special weather statement in effect for:
  • Woodstock and Carleton County
A low pressure centre near Cape Cod will track toward the Maritimes and brush along the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia on Monday. A slight wobble in the track of the low could bring 50 mm or more or rainfall by dawn.

Reports of heavy and concurrent radar imagery indicate that the regions are close to warning criteria in terms of amounts. However..Upper winds should continue to push the rain shield toward the Bay of Fundy. As a result total storm rain fall totals may only reach 40 mm.

We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.

Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment Canada at www.weather.gc.ca.
