Early September Rainstorm

Rainfall warning in effect for:
  • Fredericton and Southern York County
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

A low pressure system will track through the region tonight, rain associated with this system will become heavy at times this morning, with rain continuing into Saturday morning over eastern areas. Total rainfall amounts ranging from 50 to 70 millimeters are forecast for most of the province however locally higher amounts are possible.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
