...RECORD WARM DECEMBER APPEARS VERY LIKELY AT CARIBOU AND BANGOR...

Month to date it has been the warmest December on record at both Caribou and Bangor. The average temperature at caribou of 31 degrees is 11.6 degrees above the 30-year average. At Bangor, the average temperature so far this month of 36.3 degrees is 10.6 degrees above average. Month to date it has been the warmest December on record at both locations.

Based on the official NWS forecast temperatures through the end of the year, there is a very high likelihood that this December will end up as the warmest on record.
