Freezing rain warning in effect for:

• Queens County

Freezing rain is expected or occurring.

Several hours of freezing rain is expected to persist this morning, especially over frigid inland regions that are sheltered from easterly winds blowing off the Atlantic Ocean.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
