Late November Rainstorm

Rainfall warning in effect for:

Saint John and County
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

An approaching low pressure system from the southwest will track to the southeast of New Brunswick tonight and Thursday morning.

Rain at times heavy will begin over southern New Brunswick late this afternoon and end overnight tonight. Rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 millemetres are expected for much of southern New Brunswick although the Kennebecasis Valley and parts of the Fundy coast will like see rainfall amounts of near 50 millimetres before the rain ends overnight.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.

Halifax County - east of Porters Lake
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

A low pressure system will approach Nova Scotia from the southwest today and track over eastern areas of the province early Thursday morning.

Rain at times heavy is expected over the entire province tonight with up to 50 millimetres expected over portions of eastern mainland Nova Scotia.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
