Discussion.

A low pressure system that passed south of the province late
Wednesday brought snow to much of New Brunswick. Southern regions
had snow followed by a mixture of freezing rain and ice pellets that
eventually changed to rain mostly along the Fundy coast

Discussion.

On Wednesday a low pressure system approached the Maritimes. It
moved through the Bay of Fundy last night and moved onto
Newfoundland this morning. This system gave snow followed by patchy
freezing rain before an extended period of rain Wednesday night into
this morning. Rainfall warnings were issued for much of mainland
Nova Scotia. There was also a Les Suetes wind warning issued for the
Cape Breton Highlands, with winds gusting to 106 kilometres per hour
at Grand Etang and to 116 at Bay St. Lawrence early this morning.
