...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8
  inches are expected.

* WHERE...Northern Penobscot, Southeast Aroostook, Central
  Penobscot and Northern Washington Counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,
  including during the morning commute. Expect significant
  reductions in visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

Wind warning in effect for:

Yarmouth County
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Very strong easterly winds gusting to 100 km/h along the coast will diminish by late this afternoon.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
