...STRONG TO DAMAGING WIND GUSTS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT INTO
MONDAY...

.Low pressure rapidly strengthening as it exits to the east will
create strong westerly winds behind it beginning late tonight.
Occasional gusts in excess of 45 mph are possible at times tonight
into early Monday, with the winds ramping up after sunrise. The
period of strongest wind gusts will be during the daytime hours
Monday. The core of the strongest winds will be located over
southern New Hampshire, where 60 mph wind gusts are most likely,
with strong wind gusts gradually advancing north and east into the
late day. Strong winds will continue Monday night into Tuesday.

MONDAY...

* Winds...West 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* Timing...Monday into Monday evening.

* Impacts...Strong winds may down trees and tree branches and
  power lines, leading to power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

  lines. Numerous power outages may result.

expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...

Wind warning in effect for:

Saint John and County
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Strong southeasterly winds gusting up to 90 km/h are forecast to develop late this evening over coastal Charlotte county and spread to Saint John County overnight. These winds will diminish below warning criteria before morning.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
