MONDAY...

* WHAT...Lows in the lower to mid 30s. The lowest temperatures
  will be in rural sheltered valleys.

* WHERE...Central Piscataquis, Central Penobscot, Southern
  Penobscot, Interior Hancock, Central Washington, Coastal
  Hancock, Coastal Washington, Southern Piscataquis and Northern
  Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 7 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if
  left uncovered.

Falling temperatures combined with mainly clear skies and diminishing winds will give frost to many areas tonight.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
