...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS
EVENING TO 2 AM EDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Two to three feet of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines.
* WHERE...Coastal Washington County.
* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...
TIDAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Moderate to Major flooding is expected with
widespread flooding of vulnerable coastal roads and some
buildings with structural damage possible. This includes but is
not limited to structural flooding in Machias, Eastport, and
Lubec. Numerous roads may be impassable, with 2 to 3 feet of
inundation above ground level of vulnerable low lying areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Wind warning in effect for:
Inverness County - south of Mabou
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
Maximum gusts: easterly 70 to 80 km/h, except 90 along parts of the coast.
Locations: Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia and all of Cape Breton.
Time span: Will develop over western Nova Scotia this evening and spread eastward overnight.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
