Excessive Heat In New Brunswick

Special weather statement in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
Unseasonably warm weather expected Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Time span: starting Tuesday afternoon.

Maximum temperature: 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex 30 to 34), with slightly higher values expected Wednesday and Thursday.

Locations: New Brunswick (cooler temperatures for coastal communities).

Remarks: Temperatures are expected to rise during the day on Tuesday. Warmer and more humid conditions are expected Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front will bring a return to normal temperatures for the start of the weekend.

Reduce your risk. Schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day.
