EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 9
  inches.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock, Coastal Washington and Central Washington
  Counties.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 4 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel extremely dangerous. If you must travel,
keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of
an emergency.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause
primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

Maximum wind gusts: up to 60 km/h causing blowing snow over exposed areas.

Locations: southern and eastern New Brunswick.

Time Span: beginning this evening and ending by noon on Monday.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

Queens County P.E.I.
Significant snowfall expected.

Total snowfall: 15 to 30 cm over central and eastern Prince Edward Island, 10 to 20 cm over western Prince Edward Island.

Maximum wind gusts: 70 km/h causing blowing snow over exposed areas.

Locations: all of Prince Edward Island.

Time span: this evening until late Monday morning.

Remarks: The highest accumulations will occur over the southeastern part of the Island, with lesser amounts further north and west.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
