Snowfall warning in effect for:

Stanley - Doaktown - Blackville Area
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

Time span: today and tonight.

Locations: central and northern New Brunswick

Remarks: Snow, heavy at times, will spread eastward across central and northern New Brunswick today. Snow will mix with rain in some areas this afternoon. Snow will taper to flurries overnight tonight with strong and gusty northwest winds developing which will usher in very cold temperatures and cold windchills on Tuesday. Some blowing snow is possible on Tuesday especially over exposed areas.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to NBstorm@canada.ca or tweet reports using #NBStorm.
