Christmas Week Weather Bomb Update Four
Freezing rain warning in effect for:
Fredericton and Southern York County
Freezing rain is expected or occurring.
Time span: This afternoon to this evening.
Remarks: The snow will become mixed with or change to freezing rain early this afternoon before changing over to or becoming mixed with rain later this afternoon. Precipitation will then change back to snow this evening before ending overnight.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.

Winter storm warning in effect for:
Woodstock and Carleton County
Hazardous winter conditions are expected.
Total snowfall: 15 to 25 cm.
Freezing rain duration: 3 to 6 hours.
Locations: central New Brunswick.
Time span: Until overnight tonight.
Remarks: Snow will mix with or change to freezing rain or ice pellets this afternoon. Precipitation could also mix with rain at times this evening. Precipitation will change back to predominantly snow late this evening before ending by Thursday morning.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break.
Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
