In The wake of Former Hurricane Nicole, A Nor'easter Could Bring The First Snowfall Of The Season To Northern Areas

Snowfall warning in effect for:

Grand Falls and Victoria County
Snowfall with total amounts of about 20 cm is expected.

Snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 25 cm expected.

Locations: Northwestern New Brunswick

Time span: Tonight and into Monday morning.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING
TO 7 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5
  inches, with the highest totals from Caribou north and along and
  west of Route 11 where locally higher amounts are possible.

* WHERE...Northeast Aroostook County.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause
primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.
