Discussion.

An intense low pressure system tracking to the south of Nova Scotia 
produced significant snowfall to the southwestern most areas of the 
province on Saturday. 

The following is a summary of snowfall totals observed in 
centimetres: 

Sluice Point: 33.0 
Port Maitland: 22.9 
Yarmouth Airport: 21.4 
Lower West Pubnico: 20.3 
Cedar lake: 18.0
