A trough of low pressure that moved across the region brought
significant rainfall to parts of New Brunswick on Wednesday.

Discussion.
A trough of low pressure that moved across the region brought yet
another round of significant rainfall to parts of Nova Scotia on
Wednesday. Some heavy rain bands embedded in this trough also gave
thunderstorms and local downpours where rainfall rates in excess of
25 mm per hour were observed. This led to reports of localized
flooding in some areas of the province.
