...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, west central, and western Maine.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...The combination of heavy wet snow and gusty winds may
lead to snapped branches. Some power outages are possible. A brief
period of moderate to heavy snow will accumulate and cause
dangerous driving conditions due to snow covered roads. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of up to an inch an hour are
possible overnight.

10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Northern Penobscot, Southeast Aroostook, and Northern
Piscataquis Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 2 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Patchy
blowing snow is expected Thursday.
