Total rainfall: 25 to 50 mm.

Locations: mainland Nova Scotia.

Time span: tonight, ending on Sunday.

Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow and sleet
  accumulations up to 3 inches for a storm total of 6 to 14 inches
  and ice accumulations up to three tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Central Washington, Interior Hancock, and Southern
  Penobscot Counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the
  ice. Travel could very difficult to nearly impossible. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet, and
ice will make travel extremely dangerous.
