The coastal low will continue to meander just off the coast into
Saturday, eventually and gradually moving away into the Atlantic.
Light to moderate snow showers are expected to continue across New
England and Upstate New York through the day Friday, slowly
tapering off into Saturday as the system weakens and shifts to the
east. While all winter-related warnings and advisories have been
canceled, additional light accumulations of a couple inches or so
will remain possible. The heavy, wet snow has left many power
outages as well as the risk for avalanches, specifically the
Presidential Range in New Hampshire.
This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
