* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN PENOBSCOT...SOUTHEAST AROOSTOOK...AND
  CENTRAL PISCATAQUIS COUNTIES.

* HAZARD TYPES...A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN
  CHANGING TO RAIN MONDAY EVENING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 3 INCHES...ALONG WITH
  UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION MONDAY MORNING AND MIX
  WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN MONDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE CHANGING TO
  RAIN MONDAY EVENING.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S MONDAY...RISING INTO THE MID 30S

Special weather statement in effect for:

• Fredericton and Southern York County

Rain, Snow and freezing rain on Monday.
A low pressure system will track towards New Brunswick on Monday as it intensifies. Snow will develop over central and northern regions of the province Monday afternoon and change over to rain during the evening and overnight periods. Snowfall amounts of near 10 centimetres are currently forecast but locally higher amounts are possible. A period of freezing rain is expected for some areas during the changeover from snow to rain. For southernmost regions of the province, precipitation is expected to fall predominantly as rain with up to 40 millimetres expected for some areas.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required.
