Special weather statement in effect for:

• Cumberland County - Minas Shore

Elevated coastal water levels in the Bay of Fundy on Thursday.
An intensifying low pressure system will track across Ontario tonight and into Quebec on Thursday. Ahead of this system rain and strong southeast winds will develop on Thursday. These strong winds will generate a storm surge and in combination with a high tidal cycle will give elevated coastal water levels at the high tide on Thursday. Additionally rough surf is expected along parts of the Fundy coastline on Thursday.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.
