Mid-December Winter Storm Update Two

Snowfall warning in effect for:

• Prince County P.E.I.

Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

Snow is forecast to begin over western Prince Edward Island late tonight and will become heavy at times early Tuesday morning. The snow will likely mix with ice pellets over some areas Tuesday afternoon. Total accumulations are forecast to reach 15 to 25 cm before tapering to flurries or showers Tuesday evening.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
